Challenges faced in Ghana
Ghana is regularly affected by floods and prone to earthquakes. The country maintains overall stability, yet certain northern regions grapple with recurring conflicts and violence. Across the country, 24.2% of the population are facing poverty, with 1 in 4 children living below the poverty line.
At Al-Ayn, we stand for dignified assistance, making a tangible impact on communities in Ghana. Here’s how we’re changing lives:
In 2021, Al-Ayn its operations in Ghana, and in 2022 initiated its projects dedicated to providing assistance to orphaned children and their families.
Al-Ayn is providing financial assistance to orphaned children, as well as family assistance grants, housing assistance and medical support extending to widowed mothers. In 2023, Al-Ayn extended support to 181 orphaned children living in poverty in Ghana.
Join us in our mission to create dignified lasting change. Your support enables us to provide vital care, empowering vulnerable children and families in Ghana to thrive not just survive.
“As a mother, my biggest dream is seeing all of my daughters achieve their aspirations. I have 4 daughters… I want to see them succeed and have the future that they dream of.”
In addition to providing monthly financial aid to orphaned children, we also make sure our social care teams in Ghana assist widowed mothers and their families in obtaining necessary legal documentation and biometric certification that will support them.
These documents are essential in accessing education, healthcare services, securing employment in the future, and ensuring eligibility for government programmes
Al-Ayn has an office in Afghanistan that will optimise your donation providing it to deserving families after thoroughly investigating the needs of each individual. We will also send you a receipt and will provide updates on all of our projects through our newsletter and social media platforms.
